Your Data Rights
Your records are yours. These are the controls you have over them, and how to use each one.

1. The rights you have
- Access — see everything stored under your account.
- Export — get a copy of your records in a portable format.
- Correction — fix anything inaccurate, including AI-extracted receipt data.
- Deletion — remove individual records or erase the whole account.
- Restriction — turn off optional features such as location time or email notices.
- Objection — ask that a specific automated decision be reviewed by a human.
2. Do it yourself, instantly
Most of this is in the app: edit or delete any record from its own page, manage notification and privacy settings in Settings, and use “Erase everything” in Settings to wipe your vault. Deleting your account removes your records, receipt images and proof photos.
3. Ask us instead
Prefer a formal request, or need a full export? Use the data request form. We verify that the request comes from the email on the account and respond within 30 days.
4. Limits
- We may keep minimal anti-abuse records (such as flagged claim hashes) after deletion to prevent repeat fraud.
- Deleting your account forfeits any unspent CayPoints and redeemed-but-unused rewards.
- Deletion is permanent — export first if you want a copy.
