Vaultline Pay Policy Center
Welcome to Vaultline Pay
Vaultline Pay is Vaultline's internal spending and rewards system.
Vaultline Pay uses:
- 💵 Vaultline Cash
- ⭐ Vaultline Points
- 🔓 Vaultline Credit, when eligible
Vaultline Pay does not use real-world USD, bank accounts, credit cards, debit cards, or external payment methods.
These policies explain how Vaultline's internal economy works, including payments, conversions, credit, repayment, refunds, restrictions, and account safety.
1. Vaultline Cash Policy
Vaultline Cash is Vaultline's primary internal spending balance.
Vaultline Cash may be used at eligible Vaultline checkout experiences.
Once Vaultline Cash is available in a user's account, it can be used across eligible Vaultline purchases.
Cash Rules
- Vaultline Cash is not real USD.
- Vaultline Cash has no guaranteed cash value outside Vaultline.
- Vaultline Cash cannot be withdrawn as real money.
- Vaultline Cash cannot be transferred to a bank account.
- Vaultline Cash cannot be used outside eligible Vaultline services.
- Vaultline Cash must be used before other eligible payment sources at checkout.
- Users cannot intentionally create unlimited negative Vaultline Cash balances.
Vaultline may establish limits, expiration rules, eligibility requirements, or restrictions for promotional Vaultline Cash.
2. Vaultline Points Policy
Vaultline Points are Vaultline's earning and rewards currency.
Users may earn Points through eligible Vaultline activities.
Examples:
- Games
- Receipt activities
- Challenges
- Offers
- Achievements
- Streaks
- Promotions
- Referrals
- Other approved activities
Points Rules
- Points are not real money.
- Points cannot be withdrawn as cash.
- Points cannot be transferred outside approved Vaultline features.
- Points may have different redemption requirements depending on the reward.
- Some rewards may allow direct Points redemption.
- Points may be converted into Vaultline Cash at the currently displayed conversion rate.
- Vaultline may change earning opportunities or reward requirements.
Vaultline may remove Points earned through fraud, abuse, duplicate submissions, technical errors, or violations of Vaultline rules.
3. Points → Vaultline Cash Conversion Policy
Users may convert eligible Points into Vaultline Cash.
The conversion rate displayed at the time of conversion controls that transaction.
Example:
10,000 Points → $10 Vaultline Cash
Conversion Rules
- Conversion must be intentionally confirmed by the user.
- Vaultline will display the amount being converted before confirmation.
- Converted Points cannot normally be restored after a successful conversion.
- Failed conversions should not remove Points.
- Vaultline may impose conversion limits.
- Vaultline may temporarily disable conversion.
- Promotional Points may have different conversion rules.
Once successfully converted, the resulting Vaultline Cash becomes part of the user's universal Vaultline Cash balance.
4. Universal Vaultline Cash Policy
Vaultline Cash is not tied to a single page, reward, or purchase.
Eligible Vaultline Cash can be used across eligible Vaultline checkout experiences.
Example
A user converts:
20,000 Points → $20 Vaultline Cash
That $20 may be available at any eligible Vaultline checkout.
Users should not need to convert their Points separately for every purchase.
5. Vaultline Checkout Policy
Vaultline uses a consistent checkout hierarchy.
Payment Priority
1. Vaultline Cash
2. Vaultline Points, if eligible and selected
3. Vaultline Credit, if eligible and selected
Vaultline Cash is automatically applied first.
Points are never automatically used without user approval.
Vaultline Credit is never automatically used.
Before a transaction is finalized, Vaultline displays how the purchase will be paid.
6. Vaultline Credit Policy
Vaultline Credit is an optional internal spending feature that may allow eligible users to complete an eligible purchase when their available Vaultline Cash is insufficient.
Vaultline Credit is not the same as Vaultline Cash.
Using Vaultline Credit creates an amount owed to Vaultline.
Credit Rules
- Credit is optional.
- Users must explicitly approve Credit use.
- Credit availability is not guaranteed.
- Each user may have a different Credit limit.
- Vaultline may deny, reduce, suspend, or remove Credit access.
- Credit may not be used for every purchase.
- Users cannot exceed their approved Credit limit.
- Credit must be repaid according to the displayed repayment terms.
7. Negative Balance Policy
A negative Vaultline balance represents an amount owed to Vaultline.
Negative balances are not free funds.
Example:
Vaultline Cash:
$0
Vaultline Credit:
-$15
Amount owed:
$15
Vaultline clearly displays the amount owed and the applicable repayment deadline.
Users should never be surprised by a negative balance.
8. Points Debt Policy
If Vaultline allows eligible users to spend more Points than they currently have, the additional amount becomes Points Owed.
Example:
Available:
5,000 Points
Required:
8,000 Points
Points Owed:
3,000
Points Owed must be repaid through future eligible Point earnings according to Vaultline's rules.
Points Owed are not the same as available Points.
9. Repayment Policy
Users with Vaultline Credit or Points Owed are responsible for repaying their outstanding balance.
Repayment may occur through eligible future Vaultline Cash or Point earnings according to the applicable repayment rules.
Vaultline will display:
- Amount owed
- Original transaction
- Due date
- Current status
- Repayment history
- Remaining balance
10. Overdue Balance Policy
If a user does not repay an outstanding balance by the displayed deadline, the balance may become overdue.
Vaultline may provide reminders and a grace period.
Possible status progression:
Due
→ Due Soon
→ Overdue
→ Restricted
→ Suspended
The exact timing and requirements should be displayed clearly within the user's account.
11. Account Restriction Policy
Vaultline may restrict certain features when an account has an overdue balance.
Possible restrictions include:
- No additional Vaultline Credit
- No new payment plans
- Limited purchases
- Limited reward redemption
- Limited Point borrowing
- Other internal spending restrictions
Restrictions should be proportional to the account status.
12. Account Suspension Policy
Vaultline may suspend an account when a balance remains unpaid for the period specified by Vaultline's current rules or when there is serious abuse of the Vaultline system.
Before suspension, where reasonably possible, Vaultline should provide:
- Notice of the outstanding balance
- Amount owed
- Due date
- Reason for the restriction
- Instructions for restoring the account
Suspension does not erase transaction history or outstanding balances.
13. Fraud & Abuse Policy
Vaultline may investigate activity that appears fraudulent, abusive, manipulated, or intentionally designed to exploit the rewards/payment system.
Examples include:
- Duplicate receipt submissions
- Fake receipts
- Exploiting reward bugs
- Automated farming
- Manipulating Points
- Circumventing account restrictions
- Creating accounts to abuse promotions
- Attempting duplicate purchases
- Exploiting payment-plan errors
- Attempting to bypass Credit limits
Vaultline may reverse improperly obtained Points or Vaultline Cash.
14. Transaction Error Policy
If a technical error occurs:
Vaultline should prioritize protecting the user's balance.
Vaultline should not intentionally charge twice because of:
- Refreshing
- Double-clicking
- Network interruption
- Browser crashes
- Session interruptions
Transactions should be reconciled before another payment is permitted.
15. Refund & Reversal Policy
Eligible Vaultline purchases may be refunded or reversed according to the applicable reward or purchase rules.
Refunds may return eligible Vaultline Cash or restore eligible Points depending on how the original purchase was made.
Vaultline should never issue duplicate refunds.
16. Payment Plan Policy
Payment Plans are available only for eligible purchases.
Vaultline may establish:
- Minimum purchase amounts
- Maximum plan length
- Number of installments
- Minimum installment amounts
- Eligible products/rewards
- Account eligibility requirements
The complete payment schedule must be shown before the user confirms.
17. Layaway Policy
Eligible rewards may support Vaultline Layaway.
Layaway allows users to accumulate the required Vaultline Cash before completing an eligible redemption.
If a layaway reward becomes unavailable, Vaultline should clearly explain what happens to the user's accumulated balance according to the applicable reward rules.
18. Promotional Balance Policy
Vaultline may issue promotional Points or Vaultline Cash.
Promotional balances may have:
- Expiration dates
- Minimum requirements
- Maximum redemption amounts
- Specific eligible purchases
- Conversion restrictions
The terms should be shown when the promotion is awarded.
19. Account Balance Safety
Vaultline maintains records of:
- Current Cash balance
- Point balance
- Credit balance
- Points owed
- Transactions
- Conversions
- Payments
- Refunds
- Adjustments
- Repayments
Balance-changing actions should be recorded and auditable.
20. Policy Changes
Vaultline may update these policies as the platform evolves.
When a change materially affects a user's existing balance, Credit obligation, payment plan, or other important account condition, Vaultline should provide appropriate notice.
The user should always be able to view the current applicable policies.
21. User Acknowledgement
Before a user first uses Vaultline Credit, require them to review and acknowledge the Credit rules.
Show:
I understand that Vaultline Credit creates an amount owed to Vaultline and that failing to repay it according to the displayed terms may result in account restrictions or suspension.
Require:
[ I Understand ]
Do not allow Credit to be used until the user acknowledges the policy.
Core Principle
Vaultline should always be transparent.
Users should know:
What they have.
What they are spending.
What they owe.
When it is due.
What happens if they don't repay.
Why a transaction succeeded or failed.
Never hide an obligation, balance change, restriction, or important payment condition from the user.
